“I’ve had the pleasure of working with The Plant Library team for more than 10 years and have long loved their collection and team ethos.

During last-minute crisis at the Moscone Center, they swooped in to save the day, helping me to come out of the situation looking better than I went in.

With so many items in the event world going to waste, their sustainable business model is a great way to help clients have a positive impact on the event industry.”

Questions Before You Book

What to know about plant rentals in Austin.

What types of events do you service?

At The Plant Library, we provide plant rentals for events of all kinds, including decorative plant installations for private parties, VIP gatherings, weddings, and gala celebrations.

We also offer corporate event plant rentals for conferences, seminars, trade shows, exhibitions, and launch events, helping brands create environments that feel welcoming and elevated. For retail and press events, our custom plant walls are a standout feature, perfect for store openings, product launches, and immersive brand experiences.

How do I place an order for an event plant rental?

The first step is to Request A Quote. Our team will review the information provided, and a design specialist will reach out with questions or recommendations. Once we’ve determined your needs, The Plant Library will send you a quote including all rental, delivery, and service charges. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the availability of the requested items. All event plant rentals are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Do you offer delivery and setup?

Absolutely! Our local plant delivery services in NYC, Texas, California, and Florida comes to you via The Plant Library’s fleet of electric vehicles. We transport all plants directly to your venue, and style your selections on-site. At the end of the event, we’ll collect all our items for return to our warehouse so that they can be used again and again.

How long is your rental period?

All of our rentals include a standard three-day rental period. If you need your plants for longer, we offer a 50% discounted rate for each three-day period after that.

How does your pricing work?

All items are priced per piece, including individual plants or curated collections such as duos, trios, and styled vignettes. Each rental includes up to a three-day rental period. If you need your plants for longer, we offer a 50% discounted rate for each three-day period after that. Tax and delivery are additional, and each order also includes a pre-production fee to cover the preparation and maintenance of all rentals.

Costs for delivery and pickup depend on the size of the order and delivery location. Setup is included with the price of delivery. Overtime fees apply for after-hours and weekend pickups.

How far in advance should I book plant rentals for an event?

As a general guideline, for small to moderate-sized events, one week’s notice is usually enough to plan and confirm your event plant rental. For larger events or more complex installations, earlier is always better, as additional time is needed for design, logistics, and securing the right inventory.

During busy periods, we do often sell out, so we always recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability and give us time to bring your vision to life.
